follow these steps to connect your bluetooth weddingphone, use the app, record your greeting, and save your messages.

before you start

  • fully charge your weddingphone using the USB cable provided.
  • download the weddingphone app to your iPad.
  • make sure bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • your weddingphone can still work as a traditional audio guestbook without bluetooth.

connect your weddingphone

  • open the weddingphone app.
  • enter settings.
  • tap scan and connect.
  • press the centre button on your weddingphone to pair your device.
  • once paired, “connected” will appear in the top right corner of the app.

set up your greeting

  • on the settings screen of the app, follow the on-screen instructions to record your greeting.
  • this records your greeting on the phone and automatically sets the greeting length in the app.
  • if you already have a greeting set, you can fine tune the app greeting length by adjusting the number of seconds.
  • you can also use the general greeting setup by holding the centre button on the phone.

enter wedding mode

  • once setup is complete, exit settings.
  • enter wedding mode.
  • tap the weddingphone icon 5 times to enter wedding mode.
  • tap the weddingphone icon 5 times again to exit wedding mode.

record a message

  • pick up the handset.
  • listen to the greeting message.
  • after the beep, record your message.
  • hang up the handset to save the recording.
  • your recording will appear in the gallery section of the app.

save your recordings

  • audio guestbook messages are safely stored on the SD card inside the weddingphone.
  • you can access audio messages by connecting your weddingphone to a computer using the provided USB cord.
  • for app video recordings, open the gallery section in the weddingphone app.
  • select a video and choose export file to save it to your device.

indicator light guide

  • off: standby or powered off
  • blue: weddingphone is on and connected
  • flashing blue: recording a message
  • red: charging or data transfer mode
  • flashing red: battery low or empty
  • red and blue flashing: no SD card detected
